SOLC 21 of 31: Last Class Gratitude

This morning was my last class for my graduate school program. This was not an online program, therefore, today’s last class, done virtually, was hard for all of us. We are used to gathering together for one weekend each month. This has become our routine over the past 3 years. In the last moments of our last class this morning, we were asked to share some words of gratitude. And so I wrote the following to share:

Gratitude

A community

of educators.

Strangers first,

then colleagues,

then friends.

Learning together

about content, ourselves and each other.

Challenging one another

while also

Lifting each other up.

Collectively bonded

by an experiences of

grit and perseverance

while maintaining our

professional and personal

responsibilities.

Forever united

by our passion to

serve students,

education and others.

With gratitude.

“Challenging one another While also lifting each other up” My personal favorite line. Congratulations! Glad you still were able to have your last class. Thanks for sharing.
