SOLC 7 of 31: Night Off

Wednesday night was my town’s “Night Off” from homework and activities.

Oh, what a difference it made.

The evening was a pleasure.

No nagging to do homework.

No sense of hurry to get it all done before bedtime.

No fighting.

No whining.

No frustration.

Just happy, unhurried, do-what-we-want, kind of time.

More please.

What a fantastic idea. I hope you have that opportunity more than once in the school year.

Who doesn’t love the “Night Off?” I hope everyone feels the effects on Thursday!

What a great idea. We all know we need more of those than we get.
